Volume I, a second edition, has been restored by the National Library Bindery with their work slip laid inside. Original three quarter leather boards with newer dark brown buckram spine. Gilt lines and title on spine. Newer white end sheets. Volume II, published in 1893, has been repaired. Original three quarter maroon leather with marbled paper covered boards. Rear board reattached and front hinge reinforced. Original marbled end sheets.
