Group includes a 5 page hand written manuscript verse titled "Thoughts of A Private"; a partial hand written roster? list "Third Relief" which lists "Petty Officer Joubert"; and a typed letter from a civilian to Joubert discussing the possible death of a Company member. The typed letter is on "Northern Lumber Co., Limited Operating Retail Yards" letterhead from Kamsak, Sask. and dated October 9th, 1915. Letter signed at the bottom by W. G. Bluvett?. A Canadian Expeditionary forces roster listing for Sylvester Gordon Joubert found on the site "data2 dot archives dot ca": Company D; Regimental Number 81468; Rank Private; Former Corps Nil; Next of Kin W. A. Joubert; Address Boston, Mass (rest of information is cut off). Poem describes combat and the psychology of a soldier in the trenches. Good. Item #36662
