This copy has several hand written notes, dates, etc. relating to deaths, marriages, and other important dates from 1867-1901 in the margins and blank spaces of the text. Previous owner inscription written on the right front flyleaf - Alice C? Stanley New Britain Conn. 1862" (a more recent note in pencil above this inscription reads "1920 census she is 75 years old B - circa 1852 or 1842"). A very scarce and obscure American Tract Society publication. No copies found in auction or online as of 11/23. 4 copies located in Universities in OCLC. Fair. Fair. Item #36462
