Letter. Letter. One sheet of lined paper folded to make 4 pages. Sheet has multiple folds and measures approximately 8" x 6". Light toning and a small edge tear to the paper.

Contents are difficult to decipher but discuss money, mail, tobacco, people, etc. Likely a relative writing another relative. Unknown place where letter (Charl) is written from but one possibility could be Charlotte as the writer has abbreviated other words in the letter. Writer signed at the bottom of page 4, "Your Coz R ? Burnwell." Letter contains no direct Civil War content. Good. Item #36374
