Brownish marbled paper covered boards with leather corners and spine. Raised bands and gilt titles on the spine. Purple end sheets. Marbled text edges. Leather is dry, cracked, scuffed, rubbed, etc. Spine is chipped. Outer joints are rubbed and cracked. Inner hinges cracked but the covers are holding. Spotting to the end papers and title pages both volumes. Armorial bookplate of "Sr. (Sir?) Thomas Winnington Bart" on both front paste downs. Fair only. Fair. Item #36364
