Second Edition. Leather bound. Tall quarto. li, [1], 398 pages, [4], pages 399-498, [1] page blank, [1] page advertisement, [2]. Leather binding. Raised bands and gilt title on a later leather spine. Marbled end sheets. Boards are very worn, pitted, scuffed, etc. Leather on the rear joint coming loose from the board. Front cover, right front flyleaf, and title page are detached. Rear cover is barely holding to text. Binding in poor condition. Interior contents are very clean.

This copy includes 2 title pages with continuos pagination. Armorial bookplate of the Holland House on the front paste down. Name of "J. B. Bowditch" signed on the bookplate and top of the title page. An ink stamp on the bookplate has the initials 'D H H." Fair. Item #35356
