Photograph Album. Photograph Album. Approx. 8" X 10." Black leather photograph album with blind embossed "Photographs" title block on the upper left corner front cover. Edge wear to the covers and the spine. Album contains 50 photographs of which 40 are neatly pasted down. Several empty pages. The photos measure approx. 5" x 3.5" and are in very good condition.
17 photographs are identified including: Mr. Loose's Summer Place Edgemont Maryland; Robert & J. F. Campbell and Apples; Edgemont Reservoir; Main Street, Bridgewater; Spielman's at Bridgeport; Placing Concrete in Division Walls; Teaming out old Concrete for Trough Gates; Flume; Flume showing Effluent Boxes; Setting of Tanks; Forms For Concrete Through; Installing Strainer System; Hooping Tanks; and 16" Ventan Meter Tubes. The rest of the pictures are outdoor scenes of rivers, roads, and views. Some pictures with groups of people.
No dates or ownership information provided. One picture depicts an early car in the background. Written on back of one of the 10 loose pictures is "Chambersburg 1912". A very interesting look at rural engineering construction and surrounding areas. Very good. Item #34714
