n/a. Hardcover. Approx. 7.5" x 6.5" account ledger. Reddish marbled paper covered boards with brown leather corners and spine. Leather is rubbed on the spine. Light shelf wear to the marbled paper. Several leaves in back of the ledger are torn out. 55 pages used for recording payments received, payments paid, selling skins, oil, pine tar, work services, sawing, flour, plank, bark, crackers, oats, salt, beef, etc.
Dozens of names listed inside the ledger. A couple of account pages have "Dairy Skins" headings at top of the pages. Dates and entries for the ledger are not continous. Entries start January 12, 1874 to and finish in April 1879. Location unknown for the ledger but a couple of entries inside mention St. Albans and one mentions Montpelier. Fair. Item #34694
