An "Association Copy." Inscription (not entirely legible) written on the right front flyleaf: "From Mrs. A. J. A. E. ??? Fort Meade Feby 94." Mrs. A. J. A. is Mrs. A. J. Alexander, wife of General A. J. Alexander. She is mentioned in the introduction on page 10. Mrs. A. J. Alexander played an important role in establishing a Christian mission at Sacaton, Arizona (Pima Reservation). Very good.
