Soft cover. Soft cover. Boards and spine are missing. Edge wear and a corner chip to the first leave. A few leaves removed. Multi color paper with some embossed decorated leaves. All edges gilt. Contents consist of [66] leaves, [122] pages. 24 pages used for verse, writing and inscriptions. 3 pages used for pencil drawings. Rest of the contents are blank. First leave is a colored illustrated bouquet of flowers. Album dedication written on the next leave. Appears this album belonged to Elizabeth Cook with her signed verse and one verse written to her. A handful of the verse inside is signed and dated but only one location signed (Hamilton). Possibly an English album. Most of the dated entries are from 1846-1852. Last inscription is dated 1874. Incomplete due to the missing binding but the paper, writing, and illustrations are very nice. Incomplete. Item #31770
