Hardcover. Approx. 8.5" x 7 Memory Album. Green cloth hardcover bordered in black with gilt and black illustration on the front cover. Blind stamped title and illustration on the rear cover. Green cloth is chipped on the corners and edge worn head and base of the spine.
Album consists of multicolor paper with 24 pages used for inscriptions and verse. Album is illustrated with 6 steel engraved plates protected by tissue. Dates for the inscriptions range from 1881 to 1904. The majority of inscriptions are signed from New Haven Connecticut in the 1880's. Other locations signed include Plantsville, Conn; Fair Haven, CT; and Guilford CT. The first inscription written in verse, dated October 19, 1881, is signed by Pastor H. C. Hovey. Good. Item #31753
