Binding is professionally recased. New brownish marbled paper covered boards with leather spine and joints. Spine has 6 raised bands, gilt lines, and gilt stamped title on red morocco leather label. New front and rear paste downs and front and rear end sheets. Last blank end sheet chipped. Small period ink inscription written above "Slaves" in the section "Index to the Principal Matters." A very late Colonial imprint published on the eve of the American Revolution.
