Green cloth hardcovers with gilt stamped titles and gilt illustrated seals on the front covers. Gilt titles and shoulder strap designs on the spines. Volume 1 has light shelf and edge wear to the cloth. Cloth is chipped head of the spine volume 1. Light damp stain to the blank side of the frontispiece engraving. Volume 2 hinges are broken. Text block is sturdy. Some light shelf wear and spotting to the covers volume 2. Previous owner blind embossed stamp located on the front end sheets. Contents both volumes are clean and in god condition. A fair to good set only. Fair. Item #27756
