Speckled brown calf leather binding with black leather title label on the spine. Leather is rubbed along the board edges with a darkened edge on the front cover. Moderate toning and foxing throughout the contents. Maps are foxed and creased. The map of the western division of Greece has an approx. 2" closed tear in the far right margin with no loss of content. Old ink notations top edges of the front end sheets. Pencil inscriptions, comments, and drawings of ladies in pencil located on the front end sheets. More inscriptions and notations on the rear end papers. Previous owner name appears to be that of James C Wals (or Wats) from Charlottesville University. No date provided for the inscriptions. Fair. Item #27509
