Leather corners and spine. Outer joints cracked. Front hinge cracked. Leather rubbed on the spine, corners and joints. Front and rear end sheets browned on the edges. Light edge wear to boards. Interior contents clean. This copy has the signature of "Joseph E. Brown" very similar (with variations) to the signature from the former Civil War Governor and U.S. Senator from Georgia. A later owner's name "Augusta Wylie King" (from an Atlanta prominent family) written on the front paste down.
