Leather bound. Quarto. Soft leather covers with gilt title and illustration on the front cover. Unpaginated. Illustrated with photographs of the students, faculty, fraternities, athlectics, campus views, etc. Leather covers are worn and chipped on the spine. Front hinge broken and the frontispiece is detached. Contents are shaken with a few loose pages inside. Emory University was in the process of moving its main campus to Atlanta around the time this yearbook was published. Many of the scenes and information, however, covers the original Emory campus at Oxford, Georgia. The Chancellor of Emory pictured in the yearbook was Bishop Warren A. Candler. Pasted down inside the front cover on the right front flyleaf is a list of 17 hand written names and years ranging from 1835-1896 of the "W. G. Russell" family. A fair copy only. Fair. Item #26838
