Periodical. Misc. lot of 12 issues of the Land We Love and the New Eclectic Magazine. Condition is fair to good. The back cover is missing on the June 1866 issue. The August 1866 issue is missing both covers. Missing back cover of November 1866 issue. The last advertisement for November 1866 is torn and missing the lower third portion. Scattered foxing and toning to the issues. Some edge wear and chipping to the paper spines and covers. This magazine was first published in Charlotte, North Carolina during the Reconstruction period. In 1869 'Land We Love' merged with 'The New Eclectic Magazine' published in Baltimore. Issues include: June 1866; July 1866; August 1866; September 1866; November 1866; December 1866; February 1867; March 1867; April 1867; May 1869; August 1869; and September 1869. Issues include several articles on the confederacy and the Civil War, literature, history, and several advertisements. Fair. Item #25917
