Limited Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. [1], 136 pages, [1]. Illustrated with 2 tissue protected plates containing multiple photograph portraits and a picture of the Middlefield Free Library. Half leather binding with burgundy cloth covered boards. Gilt title stamped on the front cover and on the leather spine. Some scuffed, rubbed areas to the cloth sections. Rubs to the leather joints and corners. Interior contents very clean. Laid inside the book is a signed letter from Levi Coe to Col. Miller dated Feb 26, 1902. The letter discusses Lieut. Ichabod Miller who was appointed to the 8th Company of the "Alarm List" in the 23rd Regiment and refers to source Connecticut Records Vol. 1 page 486. Levi Coe also provides Col. Miller a rough hand written family chart (Meriden Historical Society printed on the chart). A two page historical article about Levi Coe from the Levi E. Coe Library Middlefield, Ct. (dated 11/30/2011) is laid inside with the other two pieces of paper. This is a limited, numbered copy #77 of 150. Good. Item #24909
