Association copy. Previous owner name "W Irving Ellis Melrose Mass" written on the right front flyleaf and on the front blank end sheet which is chipped on the edges. A note written in pencil at the top of the contents page reads "My father William Irving Ellis name on 440 page Second Lieutenant Company F. See page 59 also page 145." A fair copy missing the map.
