A History of the Black Hawk War. Revised in Accordance with recent important discoveries By An Old Resident of the Military Tract Fort Armstrong: 1832

n.p. n.p., n.d.

Wraps. Stapled wraps. Wraps. 87 pages, [1] page blank. Plain dark gray paper covers. Paper spine perished. Front cover detached. Rear cover appears to have been glued to the text block. Dated 1832 on the title page this is a much later undated reprint. No printer information or author information provided. Very little information found regarding this obscure tract. "Libraything.nl" has a listing for the work and dates of 1914, 1926, 1945. This website states the copy was sourced from 'Evanston (Illinois) Masonic'. The text is full of questions and answers and mentions of the Grand Council. It does not appear to be a narrative hisory of the Black Hawk War. Although the printed material concerns the Black Hawk War it is different than a traditional history. Apparently this title is not found in OCLC? Good. Item #23410
