Leather corners and spine. The leather is dry and rubbed. Light toning and foxing to the frontispiece engravings and the illustrated plates in text. Some occasional toning to the text. The plate titled "Landscape Composition" mentioned in the contents in back, located on page 96, is missing. It appears the missing plate was not bound in. OCLC also only lists 15 plates in its collation for Series 1850. A list of subscriber names is located towards the back. Series for 1850 includes numbers I - IX (April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, December 31). Scarce 3 bound copies located in OCLC. Good. Item #23086
