Harden on the front paste down dated Sept 6th, 1893.

From find a grave dot com: Prominent judge and citizen of Savannah. A distinguished member of the bar of Chatham County, GA, and a judge of Savannah's city court for a number of years. William Dearing Harden was a son of Thomas Hutson Harden, of Liberty Co., GA, and Margaret E. Dearing. On 28 September 1870, William married Miss Eliza Haywood Dearing, daughter of Major Alfred L. Dearing and Marcella Jones, of Alabama. William and Eliza had two children, Margaret E. Harden (Mrs. George P. Elliott, of Beaufort, SC); and Alfred D. Harden.
