Leather bound. 16mo. [1], xvi, 328 pages. Frontispiece portraits of Patrick Henry and John Marshall. Small black leather binding with gilt edge borders on covers and gilt stamped decorations and title on the spine. The date of 1838 is stamped at bottom of spine. The title page and verso of title page lists 1836 as the date of publication. Leather is rubbed on the board edges and joints. Light foxing and toning to the end sheets. Occasional toning and foxing to the contents. A few small edge tears to the portraits. Some light edge wear to boards and some rubbed spots to leather. Previous owner inscription on the right front flyleaf. Good. Item #21246
