Ex-institutional copy with blind embossed stamp - "Missionary Research Library New York City" on the half title and some older pencil marks. The stitching is gone and there are several loose pages and some edge chips to the pages. Light toning to the paper. Jonathan Edwards was the scribe for the General Association. The Association states: "As new settlements are rapidly forming in the wilderness the work is daily growing more extensive, laborious, and important. On this account, in conjunction with others, it is much to be desired that adequate funds should be established for the support of missionaries, and we trust that through the divine blessing such funds may be obtained."
