Paper covered boards with title on a yellow paper label pasted down on the front cover. Brown cloth spine. Cloth is split on the hinges and is partially frayed. Small chip to the cloth spine. Some scuffs and light damp stains to the paper covered boards. The front and rear end sheets and engraved title page are toned and foxed. Light toning to maps. Previous owner's armorial bookplate (William Ross Teel) on the front paste down. Atlas was issued with the publication of the second edition of Marshall's Life of Washington (2 volumes) in 1832.
