First Edition. Hardcover. Original untrimmed printed wraps bound in a more recent red cloth hardcover binding. Title label on the spine. Grayish front and rear end sheets added. Collated as follows: , x, 11-156 pages, . The original green paper wraps has the lengthy printed title on the front cover and printed advertisements on the back wrap. A small piece of clear tape located top edge of the front wrap. Contents are lightly toned. This copy is missing the original illustrated plan of Cincinnati. A folding copy of the plan of Cincinnati by Oliver Farnsworth, 1819 is tipped in after the rear wrap and after a short vertical paper wedge in the back. The black and white copied map is approx. 17" x 13" and is in good condition. This directory came from the library of Atlanta historian Franklin M. Garrett with a very faint rubber-stamp on the second front blank end sheet. "Garrett" printed in pencil on the Publisher's preface page. This is the first Cincinnati Directory.
