Album. Quarto. A-Z thumb index followed by 100 numbered pages. Green cloth hardcover with black stamped decorative designs and title on front cover. Rear cover has blind stamped designs. No writing on the A-Z front index. 99 of 100 pages used for neatly cut and pasted down clippings. Light rubs and spots to green cloth binding. Front hinge is starting to pull. Contents include poems, prayers, and dozens of articles including "Trinidad", "Mount Desert", "Diario De Avisos, Carcas", "Peace in Europe", "Notes on Yachting", "The Cities of Giants", poem on the "Battle of Bunker Hill", "Fanny Bartlett. A Romance of Lake Erie", "Telegraph Jack", "Judge Russell", "Southern Chivalry", and much more. The last 4 pages have large folding illustrations including an 1864 President Lincoln election portrait and some steam ships including the Bessemer Channel steamship on page 100. Good. Item #18095
