Ex-institutional copy with stamped date of Mar 20 1962 on the front end sheets and page 162, discard stamp on the previous owner's illustrated book plate, removed label on the rear paste down, and faint blind embossed stamp on the title page. Winifred Lovering Holman illustrated bookplate on the front paste down. An old mailing address label of "Mrs. W. Lovering-Holman 275 Concord Avenue Lexington 73, Massachusetts" located in the upper right corner of the right front flyleaf. Inscribed by the author "For Mrs Winifred L Holman with cordial regards Edgar Erskine Hume Boston, May 13, 1932." This is a numbered, limited edition of two hundred copies. This copy is numbered 47.
