Second Edition. Hardcover. 12mo. 150 pages. Frontispiece photograph of the author. Illustrated with photographs. Red cloth hardcover with gilt title and illustration of the Goodlander Hotel on the front cover. "Compliments of the Goodlander" slip tipped in between the right front flyleaf and the verso of the frontispiece. Inner cords are showing but the text is still firmly bound. The first edition (1899) is scarce. A few copies were printed as Christmas gifts for friends and contained 79 pages. Contents include information on the the Border Ruffians and Jayhawker conflicts.
