Hardcover. 12mo. xvi, 308 pages. Brown cloth hardcover with blind stamped decorative borders on the covers. Gilt lettered title on the spine. Light shelf wear to the binding. The corners are bumped. The right front flyleaf and rear end sheet were removed. Hinges are in good condition. Light to moderate scattered foxing to the contents. "William Henry Eagle presented to him by Mesy? Sept 14th, 1846" inscribed on the front blank end paper. "San? Marino Farm Haverford Delaware County Pennsyl 184?" inscribed below Eagle's inscription (the second inscription is written in a different hand). The number 113 written twice on the front paste down. "William Henry Eagle 1135" written top of the title page. Another inscription by Eagle on the rear paste down - W H Eagle 113".
