Inscribed the author on the front blank end paper - "To Gisbert B. Alberts - to my good old friend Gisbert, a friend for whom my friendship ever grows - from Otto - from his old timer Otto Rothert. Starks Building, Louisville, Kentucky, January 28, 1924". A clipped, short news article, from the Louisville Courier Journal and dated in pencil Feb. 3 1924 laid inside the front cover. The news clipping regards Rothert's book.
