Signed boldly at the bottom by John Clark Ridpath. The contents of the letter relates to Ridpath's selection of "The Best Ten Short Poems." Small edge tears and edge chips to the letter. From wikipedia: John Clark Ridpath (April 26, 1840 – July 31, 1900) was an American educator, historian, and editor.
