First Edition. Wraps. Wraps. 30 pages. Trimmed. Title printed on the outer wrap. Blank verso on the title page. The folding plan and three page appendix found in some copies is not present. Restored. Newer light green paper spine. Newer blank rear wrap follows page 30. Contents are very clean and in very good condition. This prospectus is the earliest proposal for starting the Colony of Georgia. Contents include a description of the Country, resources, defenses, profit making plans, and proposals for purchasing land. The author's plans for the Georgia Colony did not work out. Robert Montgomery, 1680-1731, died before James Oglethorpe and Lord Percival obtained the charter to establish the Colony of Georgia in 1732. The author's name Montgomery is misspelled (Mountgomery) in the title. This title was reprinted by the Beehive Press in Savannah in 1972.
