This document has the written name of "Washington Hay, and 3300 Pounds of Pork. The "Value" is listed (difficult to decipher) and also 198 (pounds) the "Amount of Bacon due Government." Signed by Washington Hay, March 23, 1864. Written on the back of the document - "Jackson Ga April 5th, 1864 Rec'd on the within adjustment one hundred & ninety eight pounds Bacon. R W Hogan Capt & P2m (sp.?) Pr M Hendrick Agt." Jackson, Georgia is located between Atlanta and Macon Georgia. Good. Item #15810
