First Edition. Wraps. Wraps. Approx. 8.5" x 5.5". 32 pages. Outer wraps toned and spotted. Faint ink inscription top of outer blank wrap- "Connecticut General Association." "1860, Jan 2 By Exchange of Dupl" written on the verso of the title page. Interior contents lightly toned. Untrimmed wraps have light edge chipping with page corners creased. Pages 30-32 spotted at the top edges. Jonathan Edwards was the scribe for the General Association. The Association states: "As new settlements are rapidly forming in the wilderness the work is daily growing more extensive, laborious, and important. On this account, in conjunction with others, it is much to be desired that adequate funds should be established for the support of missionaries, and we trust that through the divine blessing such funds may be obtained."
