"Town Clerk of Norwich" written in old ink on the blank side of page 501. This act calls for "Confiscating the Estates of Persons inimical to the Independence and Liberties of the United States, within this State, and Payment of their Debts, and directing Proceedings therein." Act also calls for sale proceeds to be directed towards the War effort; suspension of the Act controlling wages and prices; restriction of distilling liquors; the establishment of the Twenty Sixth Regiment composed from the towns of New Hartford, Hartland, Winchester, Barkhempstead and Colebrook; and more.
