Leather is worn, rubbed, and scuffed in spots. Leather chipped top edge of the spine. Faded black ink stamped name of W H Patterson Savannah, Ga on the front cover and front paste down. An old previous owner paper label on the front paste down has been scratched out. Light to moderate scattered foxing, toning and damp stains to the end papers and text. W. H. Patterson from Savannah Georgia was a member of the Savannah Bar. The author's name is not printed on the title page. This author, who was English, dedicated this book to the Right Honourable Lord Loughborough, Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain. Good. Item #14918
