"Department of State 1852" purple oval library stamp on the verso of the right front flyleaf. On the verso of the title page is a "Department of State Recieved May 31 1877 Library" stamp, "Library of Congress Duplicate Exchange" stamp, "Library of Congress By Transfer from State Department" stamp, and a date stamp "May 9 1925." "Department of State Washington D.C. Library" stamp on page 90. Leather rubbed on the corners, joints and spine. A small leather patch top of the spine.
