In the upper corner of the front paste down is a stamp - "The Old Book Spot 59 Peachtree R. Burke, Mang." Another owner's name written on the title page - "Geo. M. Howard Kirkwood Ga March 1899" written on the title page. G.W. Howard's stamp - "G.W. Howard Dealer in General Merchandise Barnett, Georgia" stamped on the frontispiece, title page and the contents page. "G.W. Howard Kirkwood Ga" etched on the bottom text block edge.
