Illustrated with photograph frontispiece portraits, color folding maps, engravings and photographs. 2 folding maps in the rear pocket of volume 2. Light blue cloth covered boards with vellum corners, joints and spines. Gilt stamped titles on spines. Untrimmed foredge and bottom edges. Light to moderate foxing to the front and rear end sheets and contents. Tipped in between the right front flyleaf and the front blank end paper of volume 1 is the printed statement "100 Copies Printed on Large Paper." This set is inscribed by Lord Amherst on the right front flyleaf. Good. Item #12025
