Hardcover. Approx. 10" x 7" oblong quarto sketch book with cloth covered boards. Book includes a cloth tie. Approx. 20 black and white illustrations of different sizes and types inside. Contents include a full page sketch, dated 1893, of the "Umbria" a British luxury ship that operated between 1884 to 1908. Other sketches (some by hand) are of English and European sites including Oxford, Falls near Meiringen, Lilienstein, Salisbury, and more. Some of the black and white sketches are not named. Some of the sketches are original works while others appear to be prints. A few of the illustrations are cut outs. One color lithograph cut out inside. Front hinge of the book is cracked. Sketches are mostly loose. Few names associated with the works. The "Umbria" is signed. The small print of "Lilienstein" is signed on the back. Good. Item #11901
