The contents read (as best as possible) - "Dear Sir Your of the 26th Just is at hand. All the Cherokee Orphan lots that are ungranted have reverted to the State cannot be granted. They are to be sold by the Sheriff of the respective counties in which such lot or lots may lay. The time for selling them is not set yet.
